How do energy-saving lamp manufacturers choose magnetic ring inductance?

Magnetic material devices are non-standard parts with complex production processes and their parameters will vary with the requirements of use. Many users do not have a comprehensive understanding and specification of magnetic materials. The following is an example of energy-saving lamps, and puts forward their own parameter requirements for the applied magnetic ring inductance. In summary, there are mainly the following categories:

  1. Inductance value: Sensitivity is the most basic requirement for the magnetic ring, and also the main factor affecting the power of the energy-saving lamp.

2, Q value or working frequency: Q value requirements for the magnetic ring, mainly in the case of a certain inductance and resistance, Q value determines the oscillation frequency. To accurately test the Q value of the magnetic ring, the magnetic ring must be wound before it can be tested. At the same time, there must be uniform regulations for the wire diameter, wire length, test equipment, and test environment.

3, Curie temperature: energy-saving lamp parts due to the heat of the lamp tube baking and the loss of the circuit components themselves, the temperature inside the lamp will reach 80-100 ° C, or even higher; and the magnetic ring heats up to the Curie temperature When the inductance is drastically reduced, the energy-saving lamp does not work properly, so some manufacturers have demanded the Curie temperature of the magnetic ring. Curie temperature is a very important parameter for magnetic materials, but it is difficult to accurately determine whether there is no good high and low temperature control equipment. So far, most of the energy-saving lamp manufacturers that have proposed the Curie temperature requirements have been roughly estimated by placing the magnetic surround wire in a hot liquid and observing the change in inductance.

  4. Comprehensive factor: The comprehensive factor is proposed for the magnetic ring. The main comprehensive factor is to weight the Hc, Br, Bs and μm according to the size of the action, and obtain a numerical value to characterize the energy transfer capacity of the magnetic ring. The comprehensive factor has a large value, and the magnetic ring has a large ability to transmit energy, and finally reflects the driving ability of the triode. In other words: the comprehensive factor binning is actually the binning of the inductor.
