Magnetic Ring Inductor Core Principles and Relationship Between Color and Material


In products with high magnetic permeability, the higher the magnetic permeability, the lower the temperature may be. However, the higher the inductance, the smaller the number of turns, and the larger diameter. According to their needs to choose the right core, but the principle of use of magnetic core inductor core is generally unchanged:


1, the magnetic ring length is relatively good.

2. The tighter the better the magnetic core aperture and the cable that passes through, the better.

3. When harassing at the low-frequency end, it is recommended that the cable should be wound 2 to 3 times. When the high-frequency end is harassed, it cannot be twisted (because of the presence of distributed capacitance). Use a longer magnetic ring.


What is the relationship between the color and the material of the magnetic ring? Most of the original magnetic ring should be painted, generally manganese zinc ring green, iron powder core ring with two colors to distinguish materials, commonly used -2 (red/transparent), -8 (yellow/red), -18 (green / Red), -26 (yellow/white) and -52 (green/blue), iron-silicon-aluminum is generally black and so on.


Manganese zinc series of magnetic ring coating color and material is not much contact, but the use of different colors of metal alloy or iron powder core material. When using high-permeability magnetic rings, it is necessary to pay attention to selecting the appropriate wire diameter, winding can not damage the coating, the winding can not be too tight; in addition to use the appropriate temperature and frequency of use.


The color of the magnetic core after sintering is not necessarily related to the color of the paint to be sprayed. There are only some conventional relations. Such as green - high conductivity; two-color - iron powder core; black + printing - iron silicon aluminum and so on.
