One of the important parameters of the chip inductor

As is well known, chip inductors, also known as power inductors, high current inductors and surface mount high power inductors. It has the characteristics of miniaturization, high quality, high energy storage and low resistance. The power chip inductor is divided into a magnetic stripe and a magnetic shield, and is mainly composed of a magnetic core and a copper wire.

The filter and vibration effects are the primary in the circuit. The primary parameters of the chip inductor are inductance, response error, distributed capacitance, rated current and quality factor.

Inductance: No-load measurement and measurement in practice circuits. Because the practical circuit used by the inductor is too much, it is difficult to classify it. Only the measurement under no-load conditions is explained.

The amount of inductance depends mainly on the number of turns of the inductor coil, the winding method, the presence or absence of the core and the material of the core. In general, the more coil turns, the denser the wound coil and the greater the inductance. A coil with a core has a larger inductance than a coil without a core. The larger the magnetic permeability of the core, the larger the inductance. So the inductance has many factors to determine its sensitivity.

The basic unit of inductance is Henry (referred to as Henry), indicated by the letter "H". Commonly used units are millihenry (mH) and microhenry (uH), and the conversion relationship between them is: 1H=1000mH; 1mH=1000uH
